Change is a constant on the University of Arizona campus. As individual teams and entire departments shift location to increase their function and efficiency, SASG Desktop Services assists groups of all sizes in moving their technology along with them. We value the opportunity to work with our partners to relieve any concerns about disassembling, transporting, or setting up technology in their new spaces. We also coordinate tasks that need to be accomplished prior to a move. This includes evaluating prospective office spaces and working with UITS to provision network and Internet resources once a new space has been chosen.
The campus landscape has changed significantly in the past year and the SASG Desktop Services team has been there to coordinate technology moves for such departments as Arizona Student Media’s move to the University Services Building, and the International Admissions Processing team to the new UA Global Center. In the near future, we will be assisting many of our partners as they move into the new Student Success District.
