New/Departing Employee Processing

SASG manages its own Active Directory user environment, in which we add and remove users, modify permissions, allow access to file shares, and much more.

SASG also manages OnBase access, as well as Drupal website editing access.

SASG creates departmental shared email, room resource, and distribution groups for our supported departments. We also modify access to these accounts.

We are available to provide input on Departmental purchases involving peripherals for laptops and desktops. Please reach out to us for any questions involving wireless keyboards, mice, monitors, etc.

Computer Support

Depending on the style of computer, we offer extensive support on laptops and desktops. For SASG-built desktops, we troubleshoot issues and can replace necessary hardware when appropriate. We troubleshoot laptops and non-SASG built desktops to a software level, and can coordinate warranty repairs otherwise.

We provide software troubleshooting on Campus Recreation's proprietary facility software.

New Software

User access for downloading and installing software varies, and we are available to help out with this process if need be. We manage a robust AppLocker instance, but most applications involving work at the UofA are approved.
